Dorms are spacious, Bathrooms are clean. The place felt very safe and there was someone on reception 24x7 10 mins walk from Hermitage and close to Sannaya Ploshard for food and beer it's a great hostel.

This is a great hostel, and you get much more than what you paid for. The staff is extremely helpful and all of them really know how to answer all your questions. a couple of showers more wouldn't hurt. Maybe someone could look closer where the luggage is stored because pretty much everybody can take whatever they feel like it. I'd totally go back to this hostel. Thumbs way up!

The only disadvantage can be only two bathrooms available for the whole hostel (30-40people), you may need to queue in peak times. Otherwise, the hostel is cool and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you stay in.

I've stayed in many hostels as a young traveller and this is one of the best. The staff are exceptionally helpful, the location reasonably convenient and the place is very clean. I would have prefered the bathroom become a second shower room, and also perhaps invest in one or two more computers, but a great place, highly recommended (and dirt cheap!).

We really enjoyed our stay at Crazy Duck. Great location, a friendly staff and a good spirit. Only downside was the fact that there are only two bathrooms (with toilets) for all the guests

Other than the two toilets thing that everyone else has mentioned I was happy - good location, good staff, good kitchen etc. Enjoy!

THE BEST HOSTEL I EVER STAYED AT. no joke! very clean, very fun, easy to find and the staff is amazing. the best you can hope for, esp in Russia p.s. dont let the old building fool you - it is really nice on the inside

Fantastic spot to explore St. Petersburg from. Rather easy to find from the directs that they give you. A nice laid back feel inside and the receptionists are hot russian girls. What more could you want!
